An invincible move has some sort of invincible hitbox, especially at its outset. It may actually be a move that exists strictly for the invincibility, but more often than not, this is not what the term refers to (because there aren’t many!).
Many times, this only refers to moves that are invincible at the outset, to the exclusion of moves that are invincible while teleporting or rushing.
